XF Wound Filter Element
The XF Wound Filter Element is designed for condensate polishing systems in power plants and is primarily used in powdered resin filters and pre-filters. Due to the large surface area of polypropylene fibers, the element provides not only mechanical filtration but also a certain level of adsorption capability. The multi-layer winding of polypropylene yarn forms a maze-like filtration structure, allowing contaminants to penetrate deep into the media for true depth filtration.
In typical applications, a layer of powdered resin is pre-coated onto the outer surface of the filter element. This enhances backwash efficiency, improves filtration performance, and significantly extends the service life of the element.
